2006 Northeast Ohio Inland District Football Team

2006 Associated Press Northeast Ohio Inland District football team, Division I

based on the recommendations of a media panel. The Inland District includes high schools in Medina, Summit, Portage, Stark, Wayne, Tuscarawas, Trumbull and Mahoning counties.

2006 brought about a change in how players are selected to the All-District team. According to Don Detore, Managing Sports Editor for the Canton Repository, "The NEW SELECTION FORMAT gives greater significance to players from playoff qualified teams."

Recipients who benefited from this revision that were not selected to the Federal League Coaches - WHBC All-Stark County team, but made the All-District 1st team include: McKinley OL Drew McIntyre, McKinley LB George Tabron and Perry LB Matt Coleman.
