An ecstatic Hoover High School football team ran off the field last Friday after one of the most memorable wins in school history. An hour away, a disappointed GlenOak team trudged through the mud to its locker room after a forgettable loss.

By Saturday morning, though, Hoover’s elation and GlenOak’s frustration from the previous night no longer mattered.
