Howard 'confident' he can qualify at Akron

NORTH CANTON Hoover’s Erick Howard finally put pen to paper Wednesday morning.

The recruiting process was over. The two-time Ohio Mr. Football winner felt relieved.

“There was a lot of stress because I didn’t think it would be as tough a decision as it really was,” Howard said after signing his national letter of intent with Akron. “Now that I know where I want to go, I’m just focusing on getting there.”
