BOARDMAN Trae Robinson threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Carmen Tarantino and Dan Kennedy tackled

on a 20-yard field goal to give the Spartans a win over the Vikings.

Hoover quarterback Austin Appleby threw touchdown passes totaling 69 yards to Stephen Dennissoff and

22 yards to Ryan Choong. The TD to Choong late in the third quarter tied the game at 14-14.

Appleby threw for 236 yards. Dennissoff caught three passes for 89 yards, while Joey Housos had four receptions for 86 yards
